Hallcroft House has won the 2012 New Homes Award for the Yorkshire & Trent region in the Federation of Master Builders [FMB] Awards and progresses to the national finals with a chance of winning the FMB New Homes Award 2012. Tom and Craig were both heavily involved with the project during their time at Allan Joyce Architects.

R K Allison Builders were appointed as the main contractor and the project was completed as a Self Build by the Client who was on site daily project managing and organising the sub-contractors. Craig was responsible for the project from the start, playing a key role in an difficult design process and securing planning permission at appeal. Tom was the project architect through the construction phase of the complex cutting-edge design, working closely with the clients (and contractors & other consultants) to resolve and explain every last detail of the exemplary building.

More information about the Awards can be found on the FMB website and ta Architecture would like to wish R K Allison Builders the very best of luck at the Awards ceremony on 20th March 2013 in London – fingers crossed they will be crowned FMB Builder of the Year 2012 for their involvement in building an exceptional new home.
